Over mij:
Hoe ingewikkelder de klus hoe meer voldoening! Dat komt gelukkig in veel verschillende situaties voor. Bij ondergaande zon op de fiets, handen van het stuur, fietsers fotograferen op een grindpad. Ook bijvoorbeeld bij een metersgrote foto uit 3o verschillende shots opgebouwd.
Het oplossen komt wat mij betreft ook terug in het zo ontspannen mogelijk op de foto gaan. Ik wil zien en voelen dat iemand zichzelf is voor de camera.
Onderweg naar een shoot kijk ik meestal in de buurt nog even rond voor verrassend groeiende bomen of struiken om mijn verzameling uit te breiden.
Na een tijd voor veel verschillende fotografen te hebben geassisteerd ben ik voor mezelf begonnen. Ik heb veel werk gemaakt voor o.a. Vereniging Rembrand, de ANWB, de consumentengids, NWO magazine, Part of a Bigger Plan, Planemos, de Gemeente Amsterdam, Paleis ‘t Loo, Yumen Bionics en Vedette incognito.
Dit doe ik met een midden-formaat digitale camera, en als dat niet handig is, een full-frame kleinbeeld camera. Op locatie of in de studio met of zonder flitslicht.
Voor Eigen werk schiet ik ook op film, om wat spanning en ambacht toe te voegen.

About me:
The more complicated the job, the more satisfying! Fortunately, this occurs in many different situations. On a bicycle as the sun sets, hands off the handlebars, photographing cyclists on a gravel path. Also, for example, a meter-wide photo is composed of 30 different shots.
As far as I'm concerned, solving the problem is also reflected in taking a photo as relaxed as possible. I want to see and feel that someone is themselves in front of the camera.
On the way to a shoot I usually look around the neighborhood for surprising growing trees or shrubs to expand my collection.
After having assisted many different photographers for a while, I started my own business. I have made a lot of work for, among others, Vereniging Rembrandt, the ANWB, the consumentengids, NWO magazine, Part of a Bigger Plan, Planemos, the Municipality of Amsterdam, Paleis 't Loo, Yumen Bionics and Vedette Incognito.
This I do with a medium-format digital camera, and if not convenient, a full-frame 35mm camera. On location or in the studio with or without flash.
For my own work I also shoot on film, to add some tension and craftsmanship.
